1911 Ferguson monoplane

plane_flyingWing span: 32 feet
Length: 26 feet
Engine size: 35 hp
No of cylinders: 8

I’m trying to collect as much info as I can about this plane. Feel free to help with the effort. Below is a collection of odd’s and end’s I found so far. The ‘Why??’ is written in the history books ;-)

Just another day..

Another happy (for most) day at the beach, during which we learned some things about NiMH batteries that are best described as ‘oh dear’..
(Feel free to insert your own favorite expression where it says ‘oh dear’)

Long story short: NiMH are great when you regularly use them. Nothing kills them faster then leaving them idle for a few months.

Easter Monday, Dennis O'Hara Memorial Fly-in

Cold and windy it was, but the turnout was great, there was plenty of food and the kettle was always on the fire. What more does a man want?
(Don’t answer).
A good time was had by all as the saying goes.

..nothing stops a Letterkenny man!

Gerry put a few pics on the UMAC website, so feel free to have a looksee.

Of course we were all brave enough to fly in 25 mph winds, but we don’t need to show that. We know we can.
